See this is more truthful, all of labour screaming about the inflation drop but miss one important fact, prices are still raising just a little slower. Locking tax bands and not raising the tax free allowence means pay drops due to inflation not pay increases.
Martin Lewis@MartinSLewis

UK inflation (cpi) down to 3.2% (from 3.6%) in for the year to Nov. That's lower than was predicted, tho of course still means overall prices are rising (inflation dropping just means a decrease in the acceleration of price rises). It means a UK base rate cut on Thurs is more likely.

Under the Tories, the welfare bill went up by £88 billion. They left children too poor to eat. They wrote young people off as too ill to work. That costs the country money and is bad for productivity. And it's a massive waste of potential. This is a moral mission. We need to reform the welfare state, and remove all the incentives which hold back the potential of young people. That’s what my government is doing.

@EmilyThornberry Many of us stopped paying them years ago, mainly due to the fact they weren't impartial. But I can see how labour might be trying to hide the fact when they get called out, but its a poor joke to say they're not liers.

Across the world, the BBC is recognised as the best source of impartial news reporting. It's not perfect, because nothing made by people ever is. However, in these days of deliberate lies, manipulation & populism, it's a beacon of truth. Britain should be proud of it. And we are
