Gladly. The original post was about the Strait of Hormuz remaining toll-free despite sanctions, compared to fee-charging canals like Suez and Panama.
International law (customary and under UNCLOS principles) treats the Hormuz as an international strait with transit passage rights—neither Iran nor Oman can unilaterally block or toll it without it being seen as unlawful interference (unlike fully sovereign canals entirely within one country's territory).
But instead of engaging with that, you jumped to Israel and international law in general. That's a clear change of subject. If you want to discuss Hormuz law, transit rights, or why straits differ from artificial canals, I'm game. Otherwise, this seems like a pivot to avoid the point.
