This is disheartening 💔 He doesn't even know how to pray. His prayer is invalid. Their father is a Muslim and both grandparents were Muslims too. I don't know about their mother. 5 year old Muslim kids can do the acts more correctly which could mean he didn't grow up praying. To think this is just the barest minimum.
