@JustusFult99485 I’ve increased it to $8k averaging down, I don’t have a lot of cash left, I blew it on Mu and NBIS chasing and averaged down. If it drops more I’ll continue to buy and can always tap my VUG etf that is up a measly 7%

@MoreyMuse Haha for sure, hindsight 20/20. As an early $NBIS guy who has conviction and my outlook longterm is crazy bullish, I’d recommend making it a 10% position for the sake of upside.

Love seeing comments when I say I added 100 shares of a company and it goes down after, some one says “a bit early”
I’m sure the same person would be saying that when I was buying $NBIS at 25 and then went to 19.
I would agree that I was early but in a different way.

@JustusFult99485 I typically have only started individual stock positions with like $5k (1-2%) or so, so not terrible and I averaged down a little, just sucks rn cause I could have been in a coma and had a better ror.

In rest of the 2026, “Vibe investors” are going to learn a hard way why “Vibe investing” doesn’t work, and why understanding deep domain expertise and company fundamentals matters.
If your investing thesis comes from some random X users telling you some photonics/optoelectronics “chokepoint” without even understanding what each of those companies do, what are their difference and what are margins and forward estimates, the technical details that go into building those components etc etc, then you are doing vibe investing.
Guess what? The account who does one sentence company description doesn’t know either. Vibe investors and Vibe master are destined to lose money, that’s like the fundamentals theorem of physics.

Well this is aging well with $VCX.

Warning about $VCX. A very popular ETF with weighting toward (Anthropic, Databricks, OpenAI, Anduril, and SpaceX). Ask yourself this: Is SpaceX is worth 23 times $META valuation? With the stock going up 1288% this month: VCX is trading at roughly ~20x its NAV. So 1500-2000% premium? This is like buying SpaceX at 34 Trillion USD. Or OpenAI at 16 Trillion USD. Would you short it? No: It's extremely low float and lack of options for hedging. But should you buy into it? $VCX looks like greater fools theory right now and you’re playing hot potato.
