I was told that I couldn't be a victim of abuse as a man. I was then charged with everything I tried to have her charged with.

The man should go to the police first. Men should all go tell their side of the story of being raped by women first thing first; the one who claims first has a better chance staying out of jail. And never say “yes”, men or women. Never do. After all just not saying “yes” is enough to destroy the other person’s life.
