@AliEldrazi I think my arguement for wanting Aurora banned is that it has a similar effect to what stoneforge/birthing pod were banned for. It limits play design in what they can and cant design with specifically large units

Banning a card from a Tier 2 deck based on future speculation is a really bad precedent to set.
We haven’t even seen how Unleashed shakes out at all.
Aurora is currently a fair ramp strategy, and it fills an important role in the meta and is easly countered.

If they don't want to ban Aurora (understandable cuz it's an epic and like $90), catalyst and/or mobilize should go. Playing Aurora a turn faster may be quite abysmal to play against next format, unless we see some new reveals that make the deck irrelevant. Eldar Dragon is too good of a buff to the deck

@Challengertcg We dont think the Draven leader should be banned or that what's considered a combat should be changed? Like ill be the first to admit called shot is OP but if were just leaving midrange draven alone its just gonna be the definitive best deck right?

@Challengertcg Make people play faster in general, be quicker to give slow play warnings, ive had opponents take multiple minutes on stacked decks and called shots and get nothing

@Jakob_Goodwin Have you checked if these were the same 60 card players? Not all 60 card players are the same, just like some EDH players do recognize that their format is casual and putting a C next to it is pretentious bullshit that changes absolutely nothing.

@riftboundop I really don’t agree with mixing the languages mostly due to the card stock difference. There are people out there who can and will take advantage of this.

It wasn't supposed to "fix" Draven. This wasn't a balance patch bro. They're trying to make cards and rules more intuitive

So I decided to step back from magic for a bit since I'm not a fan of the direction its heading in, I swapped to riftbound and ended up top 16ing the 5k AND top 8ing the 10k at #SCGATLANTA with Aurora Yi! Big thanks to the teammates who helped me test @Deadlyfx123 @plott_diagram
