Our fantastic team at Weardale Hospital sporting the latest must have hair bands. Kindly made by a generous local they protect the teams ears as face masks can be attached to them. Importantly they've given the staff a huge boost - they even gave one to me ! @CDDFTNHS

I have been the COVID ward consultant with a respiratory colleague for the last 2 days. We reached full capacity within 48 hours of the ward opening and are going to a second ward tomorrow. This is REAL. Stringent isolation is the key. @CDDFTNHS
