Liz, quick question. How can I ensure my annual Luna Shark Premium subscription doesn’t automatically renew? I tried to listen to COJ again yesterday, but gave up after being subjected to at least ten minutes of unhinged, MSNBC-worthy political ranting. The contempt was mind blowing. I feel like I’ve been conned by you guys. The ole bait and switch. Whatever happened to the in-depth criminal investigations that made MMP so popular?

I truly believe that when the financial crimes started to be revealed in the fall of 2021, that Dick and Jim did not see this playing out the way that it has. I don’t think they saw the playing field. Without the persistence and dedication of all of you amazing and smart followers and the constant media attention on this case and sunlight, I don’t think we would’ve seen the results and sentences for the financial crimes that we have seen. Our goal has always been that the sentences for the financial crimes on both the state and federal level would be an absolute backstop for the double life murder sentences should be reversed. Alex will now spend the rest of his life behind bars without any chance of ever getting out, it couldn’t have happened without all of you and people like Mandy Matney, David Moses, Liz Farrell, Mark Tinsley, Justin Bamburg, Creighton Waters, Judge Clifton Newman, Judge Richard Gergle and Emily Limehouse, Winston Holiday, SLED, FBI, David Owen, Drew Tripp, John Monk, Ted Clifford, Brooke Brunson and Anne Emerson and Valerie Buerlin. So many nice people came from many different places tonight to the True Sunlight and Cup of Justice event at the Westin in Hilton Head. It was so nice meeting people that we have communicated with on the premium member feeds and on Twitter. Being able to put faces with names was so cool. We were so grateful because many of these people traveled from New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Tennessee to come to meet us. Greatly humbled by that. Here are some photos from this evening. Always good to see my client and friend Sandy Smith, the crochet lady as she was called Stephanie Truesdale (now like a sister to me) and my partner Mandy Matney who was just awesome with everyone. So many people came to meet Mandy to have her sign their book. Some even wanted a photo with me and have me sign their books as well. Just a great evening. EB
