The bill now awaits Senate approval. Namibia, the first and only African nation authorised by the USDA to export raw beef to the United States, stands to benefit significantly. Key exports such as beef, table grapes, fish products, and manufactured goods could regain competitive edge after AGOA expired in September 2025. While Namibia’s main US exports (uranium, gold, copper, diamonds) face low duties anyway, the extension supports diversification efforts under the country’s 2021 AGOA Utilisation Strategy.
