been stuck at a hotel in a blizzard with two flats, a baby, and no fresh food. been eating crackers and leftover pizza but these kirkland siggies are looking like a reasonable way to get my fruits and veggies now

@dens I had a good friend as a young kid on Long Island really into this. I don’t know if this still exists but i remember visiting whole stores filled with these cars, and places you could go with elaborate indoor tracks to race them.

And now I'm listening to Maniacal Laughter and remembering a @BouncingSoulsNJ show we had at Deja One on Long Island in '98 or '99. Jam-packed with kids and I can still picture the walls, they were dripping wet from the heat and humidity in the place. Great damn show.

@moth @mollycrabapple Thats probably mostly some pseudo-spiritual fantasy nonsense, the loss will be fewer people getting personal enjoyment from doing art as hobby because of never getting into it because AI art exists.
