@MOTHIDUK Hi, found this pug on the side of the shed this weekend, (North Kent, urban). Looks like a common pug to me, (the white spot showed better in real life than in the photo), but my book gives a max wingspan of 18mm - this one was more like 25mm. Am I wrong?

@MOTHIDUK IST trap of the year and already stressed!
Is this a red chestnut please? VC65. TIA.

@MOTHIDUK @FlyinginFordham Found this tiny day-flying moth just now. My best guess is one of the Momphas - maybe subbistrigella? Am I close? Many thanks.

@MOTHIDUK @FlyinginFordham Could I just check this one please? Probably just a March moth, but it's markings were a bit different to the ones I usually get. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

@MOTHIDUK @FlyinginFordham Struggling with this one from last night - is it just a poorly marked Common Quaker? Many thanks.

@lynda_lambert A subpropinquella is a good bet, but can't be completely sure.

A photo of a dead #moth from December 2021 in #ThornleyWoods #Durham. Never decided what this was. Perhaps even too much of a challenge for @MOTHIDUK?
