so if my family is used to me being small & borderline underweight will they even think bmi 15 looks extreme ?

@girlbot019 distribution. I also think many men will not talk to people or even admit to themselves they have it! tldr: men with eds look and act very different than what is standard (which is typically women)

@girlbot019 i feel like its more the fact that men with eds will usually focus on losing weight and gain muscle mass so they may not look disordered in the way a girl would look. On top of that men biologically look very different when starving due to different muscle mass and fat 1/2

i just found out that losing your period can cause a weak bladder due to low levels of estrogen thinning bladder lining and weakening pelvic floor muscles which may be the reason why you feel like you need to pee every hour despite not drinking a lot of water

i know anorexia isn’t a choice but i really do feel like i wake up every morning and make a conscious choice to engage in anorexic behaviour and then a series of subsequent choices throughout the day so i find it really hard to understand how it’s like … not a choice
