Unfortunately I was affected by the layoffs today. This is a lot to process for me so I will take it easy for the rest of the week while I think of next moves. Sigh I weep for this industry.

Beyond work, Evan is a close personal friend who I have seen dozens if not hundreds of times go so far out of his way to make sure the people around him are okay that he ends up not eating for a day.
To reiterate - he is a cornerstone, full stop.

Every single person I’ve been able to work with at Epic is so fucking talented and absolutely incredible at what they do. No one laid off deserves what happened today.

There is not a single person I would vouch harder for, in any professional capacity.
Evan is genuinely one of the most impressive people I have ever worked with in every sense - critical is nowhere near a strong enough word.

Rough news, to say the least.
My position was not impacted, but many of my incredibly talented coworkers, colleagues and friends were.
There is nothing to say beyond my heart is breaking, and that I will be signal boosting as many of those as I can personally vouch for.

I was impacted by today’s layoffs at Epic. Truly came out of nowhere for me. Right before my birthday, too.
I really liked Epic. Really liked the teams. Really liked what we were doing in music. So it’s all a shock.
Time to breathe for a minute. Then onward and upward.

Sadly I was impacted by todays layoffs at Epic. Still processing as I just found out like 20 minutes ago.
Probably going to jump straight into the job hunt... if anybody has any leads for Environment Art roles I would greatly appreciate it.
