@latikambourke@PaulBongiorno And you will be the first to join the conga line of so-called journalists to criticise the government if the ship gets bombed.
@PaulBongiorno It's called reporting Paul.
What is sad is that you used to be terrific at it. Now you're so divorced from the skill you can't even recognise the craft and are reduced to howling online at those still making a go of it.
Trump is right to blast allies for not showing up over Iran says former UK Defence Secretary.
Michael Fallon says if Australia could send a ship to Hormuz six years ago, why isn't it right to do so again today?

The Victorians most adversely affected by high fuel prices don’t have access to public transport. Now their taxes will be subsidising tens of millions in free fares for those who do have the option of public transport. #springst
BREAKING: New numbers show the strongest growth in our economy in almost three years.
The Australian economy grew 0.8% in the December quarter, to be 2.6% higher through the year - this growth is much stronger, broader and very welcome.
This is faster growth than any major advanced economy.
Economic growth is picking up, business investment is strengthening, more than 1.2 million jobs have been created, unemployment is low, and participation is at near record highs, but we know there are big challenges too.
Here's yet more polling, this time from Fox & Hedgehog, showing One Nation is a party for older men with low education levels.
Also confirms "Australia's most progressive state" is anything but, and ON are a real threat in Victoria under a corrupt, dying Labor
Australia is a great country being let down by a bad government. That sense that we are a nation in decline has only intensified since Albanese became PM, driven by his first term obsession with the divisive, race-based Voice and his confused and conflicted response to the shameful upsurge in Jew hatred.
Millions of Australians are hungry for leaders who speak their mind on energy security, national security and unalloyed pride in our country. Anyone who wants a caliphate or sharia law is not going to fit into a liberal pluralist democracy and really should not seek to live in Australia.
Angus Taylor has the intellectual self-confidence, the organisational skill, the personal diplomacy, and the sheer inexhaustible energy needed to hold this deeply underwhelming government to account.
It's time to take the fight to Albo. Read my latest at The Tony Abbott Newsletter: tonyabbott.au/p/time-to-take…
@sussanley If only you were this vocal to push for a Royal Commission into Robodebt, an illegal act a government that you were apart of perpetrated on Australians, killing thousands.
Every corner of Australian society is now calling for a Commonwealth Royal Commission into the Bondi terror attack and the rise of antisemitism.
This is not about politics. It is about truth, accountability and respect for those affected.
Australians deserve honesty from their leaders. They deserve the courage to confront hard truths. Above all, they deserve clear answers.
So the question now is simple. What is the Prime Minister hiding?
Veteran radio broadcaster Ray Hadley has called for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to resign while standing among grieving families at a vigil in Bondi following Sunday’s terror attack.

@Hon_PeterDutton Glad Australians saved their tax dollars at the last election by showing you the door. If you were PM, you and the fossil media would have sowed fear and division, and milked this tragedy for all its worth.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Jewish community and those impacted by this senseless slaughter in Bondi.
The oldest form of hatred has been manifesting in our country, starting with graffiti, racist protest, fire bombings and now a mass killing.
Leaders in the Jewish community have warned of the inevitability of this day.
It is a tragedy for the victims, their families and the first responders and hero community members who rushed to help.
It is a day of national shame.
@michellegrattan@ConversationEDU Michelle joins the conga line of fossil fuel media to blame Prime Minister Albanese for the so‑called antisemitism crisis, inflamed by the same mob.
Every time he’s asked about productivity, Jim Chalmers passes the buck, pointing to the Coalition’s time in govt years ago.
It’s true productivity growth has slowed for some time.
But compare the pair: only under this government has productivity gone backwards, by more than 5%.
A regular tactic by #insiders is to interview a member of the opposition whenever an issue arises, this time in childcare, to blame the government for letting it happen. Yet, this mob did nothing when in government, and the media gave them a free pass.
You wouldn't focus on the losing team at a Grand Final after they've been smashed. So why is #insiders obsessed with LNP's renewal whilst neglecting Labor's win and its plan for the future?
The Liberal Party owes Australia a much stronger performance at the next election and that has to start now.
We need to be a strong, clear and principled alternative to a government that we know, on its record so far, will be damaging the economy, dividing our society, and neglecting our on going security.
I’m confident that the leadership team of Angus Taylor and Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has the conviction and courage to make a real contest of the next election.
It has the fight and drive to hold the government to account for its mistakes and to offer the Australian people change for the better.
#insiders is quick to divert attention away from Labor's historic landslide victory and focus on the party's factions. If a front bench member had to be demoted from the LNP after a big election win, it would be a non-issue.
