Our dealers base their offers on information provided by sellers
They will need to know about any wear and tear, no matter how superficial. If a vehicle has imperfections that are not disclosed, it may result in a reduced offer or cancellation

@motorway @FluffyRona Well here is another thing to add… when traders go to an auction, they don’t then get to try & find any / as many tiny issues to then try & renegotiate their winning bid.
Yet seems your traders think it’s fine to. For things that were known too or normal wear & tear.

Selling a car? Don't use @motorway - a bigger load of crooks and con artists I've never seen. Sold our car with them ten days ago and still they delay payment and collection. They are the Reform of the car industry. Avoid like the plague.

@FluffyRona @motorway Just had them offer way less than Webuyanycar!
They also tried to chop over £1k off the valuation because a bit of kit was missing that can be replaced for under £100.
Yes I wouldn’t recommend them.

Thanks for your comment, in order to sell through Motorway your vehicle needs to have an MOT certificate with at least two weeks' validity left before it enters the online daily sale.

@motorway hiya. Just wondering if when the cars mot is due does that affect the qoute? Im thinking of selling my 21 plate merc but mot runs out end of Feb. Shall I get another 12 months on it then sell or does it not make a difference. Car is faultless and will sail through mot

Don’t use @motorway to sell a car. My wife selling, listed & sold at its auction; few scuffs, chips etc fully declared to avoid rejection or renegotiation, bar one small one we’d not seen. At collect dealer wants £1,500 less or *no sale* cos guess what, scuffs & chips need fix 🤯

Who has had dealings with @motorway while trying to sell your car
They demand pictures but don't provide threads to upload to, every Email they send you as a No reply adress.
Very frustrating.

@motorway has listed our car and sold it. The driver takes over an hour taking pictures then disappears 🤷 we chase and chase and chase to find out that the dealer has been told it’s not worth scrap. The dealer still wants it but will send his own driver in 2 weeks. 🤔

Well @motorway is rubbish. Not "fast" and not "fuss-free".
They attract you by offering you one figure, they keep knocking you down. It goes in auction. A dealer wins. Arranges two agreed appointments to collect it.
The dealer later turns up and tries to knock a lot more off.
