@Abn_Panzer There is a dried up river bed not far from my house that has tons of exposed rocks. I am working on a rock garden around my lilac bushes to keep the cats from using it as their litter box.

Rock hounding went well today. My two littles were a huge help!

Over seeding my yard about 10 days ago was the best decision I have made this year. It has been lightly raining for 10 days. You bet that grass seed is watered in.

@Meadein95 @RolandGunnTN Before it was localized, now the entirety of sevier co is covered in STR “cabins”, to the point where the views are ruined bc every ridge is littered with them. Wears valley, chalet village are the worst, soon chilhowee and english mtn are gonna look like this too.

It is gaudy and what has happened in Gatlinburg in the last few years is even worse. I hate it, but it’s not economically dead at all. It has the opposite problem.

@BentonAcres My Australian shepherd puppy recognizes her name as “Toots” when it’s just me and her.

We went to Tractor Supply to get some green stuff for the our tractor and mower tires and came home with this cutie I named Tootie. 😍

@recon4thID Kinda yeah, but it’s a different experience. The shell is thin, so easily eaten. Most of the seasoning is on the outside of the shell. If you crack the shells and eat the peanuts, they taste like raw peanuts.

The shop I get boiled peanuts had a new feature today that I have not previously heard of— Fried peanuts. And they recommend you eat them shell and all. I got some Cajun flavored and they are delicious! Peanut shell = more fiber.

@SevierlyBlessed I can’t deny that it is DNA coded that we men love yard work. I was out this morning with an umbrella in the rain spreading more straw. 😆
