Rahn, Smith, and Niemann up the leaderboard… LIV might be in trouble but isn’t it tiring hearing the Golf Channel talking heads still pushing the lack of competition these guys see. Propaganda machine still running, give it up guys.

@sauceyrosco @GolfComplainer @LouStagner @RiggsBarstool Actually nobody gives a shit about your “theory”on how he “could be” cheating, since we watch him play not from the front tees all the time… it was a stupid point that Lou ignored to make a better point.

@GolfComplainer @LouStagner @RiggsBarstool Buddy, Lou is saying how to do it without cheating. I am implying Riggs is cheating using my method example. Thats why he missed the point of my post, you missed too 😂

So then it should be easy for him to sit before reporters and discuss? Well that didn’t happen which sadly makes him seem more guilty. You watch and learn when the narrative is formed. His lawyers and PR are working overtime as this won’t go away until he, and only he, step up and respond.

Didn’t say that. He was checked. Took it out of bag and like a tennis pro we saw no difference. Rory? He sprayed it everywhere and would have been smarter to stand up and handle the questions. Xander also chimed in about getting out driven at the Masters by 30 yards to then come to PGA and hit it in same area as Rory. Look it won’t impact Masters results but look at Indy qualifying and F1 racing and how they treat out of compliance issues.

Don’t know but the Rory driver story is huge and won’t go away. Anyone who has an adjustable driver understands that even the smallest tweak makes a huge difference in execution. He used that driver at the Masters which is why he’s gone dark. Question is: will the PGA of America take their star and strip the title? Best case? His grand slam now comes with an asterisk.

@golffan123456 And yet he played TGL… and made it worse. I don’t think originally the demand was 12-14 weeks. That came after it became clear the PGAs stance. But regardless, yes no one is denying it was expected to be a bigger commitment, with bigger rewards. TGL is still a commitment…🤷‍♂️

@MountainRaging If you’re talking about Xander, he was already injured during Kapalua. But the entire thing was designed to not interrupt weekend golf. LIV was designed to be an alternative to the weekend Golf that already existed and they demanded 12 to 14 weeks of top inventory.

@golffan123456 Yep. But I tend to believe Rippers hold much more value in Australia than anyone in Boston caring about Hidecki/Scott, since the matches are never “home games” in TGL. And injuries have already been exacerbated in TGL to affect top players not playing in PGA events… so oops🤷‍♂️

@MountainRaging players that happen to be from similar places, but not teams that are structured to represent a location. In the world of pro sports very rarely do top players play for their hometown professional team. to your second point, tgl is set up to cause no problems playing both.

@golffan123456 Some of the LIV teams have real region/market ties that actually mean something and are not just arbitrary, so not a real differentiator. So quickly we forget, LIV wanted to integrate into the existing scene and allow players to play both. PGA said no, buy yes to Tiger and Rory

@MountainRaging TGL is a weeknight matchup-based competition with teams actually tied to cities/markets that has no intrusion on the existing pro golf landscape.

@golffan123456 Is TGL that much different besides the obvious? A team golf league with thrown together made up teams with no history, trying to present itself in a shorter more “fun” format with more fan and player engagement. Sounds like a similar playbook?!

@MountainRaging What did you mean by "shortsighted" then? TGL is a much, much different beast. And I'm not even sold that is a good idea either!

@golffan123456 If you “revisit” the post and read the comments, most people say team golf has no chance, nobody will sponsor the teams, they won’t have value, no fans will care, etc…. And I think a case could be made that that was wrong and very shortsighted. In a very short amount of time.

@MountainRaging Ok fair enough! Then what are you hanging your hat on that people have been wrong about up til now like your initial assertion claims? What are you looking at and saying "see I was right!"?

@golffan123456 I’ve never once claimed if I thought as a whole it is successful. I like aspects of the product, and see it as growing just as planned, just as I like aspects of the PGA, although that product has gone down hill with its lack of identity over the last couple of years…

@MountainRaging But then is your case for why it's successful just that you like it? Isn't that subjective? I'm trying to understand what you're actually saying here. Help me out.

@golffan123456 But clinging to that as you sole source of success or failure, to prove your deep seeded dislike for something, when everybody has said to you, yeah we know this point is true now, is where you cement your lack of objectivity…

@golffan123456 I conceded in 2022 that PIF is playing a long game and has no interest in whether or not it made money on its investments… That still stands 2.5 years later, that’s not a long time in the business world to expect to grow something and see the ROI.

@golffan123456 The post had nothing to do with metrics or money. But you brought them in, with no source, to make the same “LIV is a failure” talking point you use EVERY time. TEAM GOLF. What has worked, what isn’t about both of the current iterations?!

@MountainRaging I'm the one talking about metrics, you're dealing in vague "can't see the vision" language. That's just corporate BS IMO. Tell me what objective metrics you see besides "PIF has all the money"

@golffan123456 Sorry dude. You are not sincere in ever looking at anything objectively… so I’m not going to go round and round with you again. Anybody who has seen you post anywhere knows your take. I don’t know what you get from regurgitating it over and over for years. Have a good day.

@MountainRaging There are very few metrics that suggest liv is viable let alone successful. Adelaide being an utter outlier is not the win LIV thinks it is. "Team golf" is just aggregated scores with 1 actual team event all year long? No. It's about merchandise and equity and staged celebrations

@golffan123456 This post has nothing to do with your lame PIF is losing money and I don’t know what I’ll do when they own more of the PGA too, it is about the use and growth of TEAM GOLF! But I did expect you’d to drop in with your antiquated 2022 takes on LIV, you can’t help yourself.

@MountainRaging The obvious differences are pretty important to that kind of comparison. I wouldn't do victory laps because the controlling entity doesn't care if it loses 5 billion dollars in 3 years. That's not exactly a good thing for pro golf.
