@JeraldLutney The issue is that adjectives alone do not define masculinity. "Be humble, respectful, kind" are good virtues, but they do not answer what masculinity is. Men are often seeking role, purpose, responsibility, and direction.

Regarding the masculinity crisis, so long as we demonize masculinity, it shall remain a shadow: omnipresent, stalking, waiting to surface. If you want healthy masculinity, you have to define it for men, and it can’t be a list of ‘do nots.’
