@FPL_Marcelo I thought he was absolutely terrible bar the pass for the goal
English

@FPL_Kante I think for me it’s ’not close’ because if you asked me (up to now) I wouldn’t hesitate. Genuinely just objective for me - he’s just done more and in slightly more testing fixtures
English

@Move78_FPL Understood. But why is it not close then? Even if he is the best, must be a few of the others who are close in your opinion?
English

@ChatboxExtra Disagree. ‘So far’ was the key part and imo it’s Bellingham. Doesn’t mean it ends up that way - we may well be out in 45 mins
English

@Move78_FPL If England get to the finals then maybe otherwise it's mbappe or Messi right now because they also lead the goalscoring charts
English

@fplrhinos @JackyJoe1679033 Always say it - the hard court season is like 25 weeks, clay ~10-12 weeks, and grass (where it’s meant to be played), 4-5 weeks. Nobody could touch Fed on grass but you never heard him complain
English

@Move78_FPL @JackyJoe1679033 Tbh Fed's biggest problem was that they slowed Wimbledon down whilst did nothing to alter Roland Garos. He'll always be my fav as I think whatever era he'd been born he'd have dominated whereas the others would have struggled with the wooden rackets.
English

@FplRichard Anyone who isn’t delighted thinks Ronaldo is better than Messi, Hendry better than O’Sullivan, The Last Crusade better than Raiders - we’re not the same
English

@Move78_FPL Am I allowed to be delighted Rog can keep his Wimbledon titles record?
English

@PsychoFpl @FplRichard I didn’t know I could like you more but here we are
English

@FplRichard @Move78_FPL Rogers magnificence goes beyond records, it’s a combination of that with personality, technique etc. Djokovic could never come close.
English

@JackyJoe1679033 Just can’t comprehend. It’s what actually made him know Djok wasn’t as good as him. But it made him dislike/lose respect for him and it affected him. With Nadal as soon as he changed his backhand he completely dominated him. It was just annoyingly a little late
English

@JackyJoe1679033 He was just kind of unlucky in the very specific nature of what happened with the other two. The way Djok acted in that US open game when Fed had it won did affect him way more than it should but it was something a purist/perfectionist
English

@JackyJoe1679033 Djokovic didn’t overtake his H2H with Federer until Fed was 33 though - already way past his best while Djok was prime. While Fed was of age he simply had the edge. (Although he outplayed him many times B4 & after this and should’ve won more but for a mental block after US open).
English

@Move78_FPL Small difference: Djokovic reached his peak when Federer was 30. Alcaraz and Sinner reached theirs when Djokovic was already 36—and Djokovic was still beating them at 35, 36, and even beat prime Sinner in a five-set Grand Slam semifinal at 38.
