Feather dresses may appear glamourous, but when the feathers come from wild birds, it’s just cruel. Wild animals belong in the wild – not in fashion. #intcid=_glamour-article-bottom-recirc_3fc68f42-cc12-4411-8254-8888a8c4b672_text2vec1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">glamour.com/story/the-feat…

A just transition away from industrial farming to higher-welfare farming has to mean a transition that works for everyone, and that starts with widening participation in the rural economy. Read more about our Just Transition work here: bit.ly/46ruQtD

It takes just two minutes to email your MP. You’ll be joining thousands of others calling on the government to enforce the law and ensure it protects animals as it was intended to. No more delays. No more excuses. bit.ly/4kKfi9Z

The Act should stop travel companies in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, from selling and promoting cruel wildlife attractions that take place abroad. But sales of tickets to dolphin shows, elephant rides and other cruel entertainment activities continue.

New action alert 🔔 Ask your MP to attend our parliamentary drop-in event ⟶ bit.ly/4kKfi9Z Why? The Animals (Low-Welfare Activities Abroad) Act became law in 2023 but not a single cruel animal activity has been banned under the legislation.

Thank you to @PeterEgan6 for standing with us and speaking out against @TUIUK still profiting from dolphin & whale shows. As the travel giant holds its AGM today, our message is clear: public opinion is shifting and it’s time for TUI to listen and stop selling tickets to cruelty.

Let @TUIUK know how you feel about them continuing to profit from captive dolphin and whale venues. Take action and advocate for this being the last generation of dolphins in captivity. Help us pressure TUI to stop putting money before suffering 👇 bit.ly/TUIAGM2026

Over 3,000 dolphins are still being held captive in a multibillion-dollar dolphin tourism industry. Behind each seemingly cheerful smile, lies a lifetime of trauma for a captive dolphin.

Barclays is harming animals, people and the planet by investing billions of pounds into horrific factory farms. We’re demanding they stop. Huge thank you to Peter Egan @PeterEgan6 for standing with us and speaking out on this cruelty. #BarclaysDropJBS

The UK is falling behind other countries in animal welfare standards and the animal welfare strategy announced back in December lacks decisive action by merely encouraging the adoption of slower growing chicken breeds.

Good news! Norway plans to phase out fast-growing chicken breeds by 2027. These so called “frankenchickens” struggle to support their own bodyweight and suffer from very painful conditions. We urge the UK government to follow Norway’s example and urgently ban these breeds too.

Stories like these show that cows are sentient, intelligent individuals, who deserve lives worth living. 🧡 They don't belong in factory farms where they are treated as machines. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Hugging a wild animal may seem harmless but one photo for you is a lifetime of trauma and captivity for them. Be vigilant and avoid cruel venues: if you are able to hug or hold a wild animal, the chances are it has suffered some kind of cruelty. #NationalHuggingDay

Imagine a world where elephants only exist in stories. It's up to us to actively protect them for generations to come 🧡🐘
