I am honoured to have been appointed to serve as Minister for Children, Disability and Equality in the new government. I would like to thank Taoiseach Micheál Martin for the exciting opportunity he has given me.
Such sad news to reach us on the passing of Jon Kenny. He graced our Main Stage many times, as part of the D'unbelievables with and also in John B. Keane's 'The Matchmaker'. Always a professional and most importantly a very friendly visitor. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Great to get the Capital City Plan for launched. Dublin is a fantastic city but it can and it will do better. The Plan identifies ‘10 Big Moves’ to make Dublin a more thriving, attractive, and safe cityscape; and a more desirable location to live, work, do business and visit.
After 13 years, this evening we raise a glass to Willie White to celebrate his leadership, artistic vision and ambition. From present and past teams, artists and companies, we thank you Willie for your dedication and commitment to both the festival and the Dublin theatre scene.
