The Marathon discourse has been pretty wild. I have never seen this many people vehemently hate a game of this quality. If the PR run leading up to release had been different, I don't know if the backlash would be anywhere near what it is.

@cadneyzss @SirDimetrious Forced hate doesn’t hide the fact that Bungie tried to push a niche genre into something that it’s not. Games at best at 40k players, per Bungie, and it’s just declining already.

@SirDimetrious This game is one of bungie's best projects. The hate is incredibly forced and it's all because the dev team has people with blue hair.

@just_a_vet_ @BDHerzinger Per Article 18 of the Geneva Convention, a submarine only has to meet specific requirements because the of risks surfacing does to the submarine. By alerting Sri Lanka to the attack, they met the conditions in 18 and it’s thus not a war crime.

@just_a_vet_ @reportingLibya @BDHerzinger Except article 18, part 1642 onwards specifically notes the exemptions towards submarines due to their many limitations. By notifying Sri Lanka, the Submarine met the requirements per article 18. You didn’t even bother reading it, did you?

@reportingLibya @BDHerzinger 2nd Geneva Convention, Article 18 requires the rescue. There’s no exemption for subs. It’s the same thing as on land.
