Just booked a last min weekend to Alnwick. Any recommendations for Alnwick / Northumberland? Food, drinks, sites, history, beaches etc.
We’ll be taking a dog AND defos going to Lindisfarne for part of the weekend ✨

@MissCatnach I shop on a Sunday with a plan for the week. Monday-Wednesday things that are pretty quick (pasta, easy dinners etc). Thursday always a ping meal because that’s our crash night. Friday something fake-away style. Nicer cooking on weekend.

@MrAllington Liking in solidarity, not with an idea. Something I really struggle with too - I’m a skinny jeans and boots guy. (I have given in and wear a suit)

Currently I’m going with smart chinos, t-shirt and blazer most days. Sometimes I wear a knitted shirt (sounds weird, but it’s not I promise 🤣).

Are there any gents in senior leadership who don’t wear a suit? I’m really not a shirt and tie guy, so looking for more ideas on what I can wear to still look smart on the days I’m not in class. Trying to avoid giving in and wearing a suit, because it just isn’t me. 1/2

Today was oral retelling and story mapping with Year 3on the Night of Power.
They were so good at the makaton signs that went along with it!

@inspireinsci @STABILOUK We trialed with them Year 3 last year and the feedback from teachers was poor. Difficult for the children to wipe clean and nibs break easily.

Teacher friends…. Are you sick of finding dried out whiteboard pens and having them nicked? Sick of the plastic waste? Loooooook!!!! You can get white board pencils for your mini whiteboards 😱😱😱 @STABILOUK you are amazing! I love them!

Did art with my yr3/4 class today.
I demonstrated how to draw a vase in 3D.
Throughout, they kept saying, "That's really good!"
At the end they clapped.
My TA, who I had at times last year, just looked at me trying not to laugh.
I never got that in 5 years of being in yr5/6...
