@aaron_renn The students in Luddite schools are going to run circles around the techy school grads. They will both use AI on the job, but only one cohort will have the right intuition.

Telling people they can't use AI to complete an assignment or task is soon going to be seen as stupid as telling them they can't use Google.

I’m amazed at how many of you want Bishop Barron to take the third step with Dave Rubin before he takes the first two. I see many of you talking about how Jesus “told sinners to repent” but none of you seem aware of the pattern of Jesus calls for individuals to repent. He established a relationship and he went from there. It was the self-righteous Religious who chastise Jesus for eating with sinners. How do we miss this? Jesus didn’t then respond to their criticism by standing up and yelling at them to repent; he told them that the sick need a doctor. Not those who are well. I would invite each of us to work at the skill at being horrified by our own sin and fixating on that. That’s how Saints get made. Not by running around worrying about everyone else’s.
Bishop Robert Barron@BishopBarron

Friends, in a new episode of Bishop Barron Presents, Dave Rubin and I discuss the lost art of civil discourse; his own ideological journey from left to right; the cultural impact of Charlie Kirk and Jordan Peterson; and more.  Watch our full conversation here: youtube.com/watch?v=6Esvap…

@CrusaderOps @Joeinblack He's platformed regardless, the difference is by bringing him on THIS platform, Bishop Barron can turn his attention toward Christian themes and beliefs, instead of whatever Dave regularly promotes/focuses on.

@Joeinblack I have heard this nonsense my entire life. No one is buying it. Publicly having a discussion with a child trafficker is insane. Barron would die before doing the same for a hard right figure.

Marriage is a bad deal for men under all circumstances short of ownership over wife and children. Status quo not only permits no fault divorce, but considers it an inalienable right to introduce "step-parents" into children's lives. You have no legal defence to object to this.

No-fault divorce simply means the marriage can be ended by either party and it's a response to a situation where both parties would want to end a marriage but would be unable to do it legally - this was basically the last pillar in an entire society-wide system of enforcing marriage *on women* Once that was gone and marriage vows no longer bound women no-fault divorce is simply logical - no point in making them jump through hoops to pretend there's a reason to dissolve a bond that's already gone

Is it possible to argue in favor of no-fault divorce as a Christian or is it just not rhetorically feasible without abandoning the premise that you have any legitimate religious beliefs as all I've never seen any of the Christian dads on here even attempt it

@CovfefeAnon yeah it made no sense, couples were going to PI firms that would refer the guy to a hooker so the couple could get "surveillance photos" of them going into a hotel. or they would just demand recognition of foreign divorces. etc

Bonkers came out at a time where pretty much every afternoon cartoon block was fire after fire. Gargoyles, Batman TAS, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, X Men, Rockos, and Anime was being introduced to US kids with Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. It just got sidelined standing next to all-stars, I think. I dont remember anyone hating it, more like no one paid it any mind.

I hadn't seen this show since I was like 5, and maybe just 2 episodes at most, so I gave the first few eps a watch the other day. Bit confused by the loathing it's received over the years, seems fun and the expressions and character acting are fucking amazing.
