Yea. It's definitely both. Plenty of dudes are just good dudes with a good work ethic. But the amount of freaks SOF is able to find who are both athletic and brilliant is hard to explain to the average person. Ivy League types routinely tried to keep us out of MWR events because they would get sick of losing to "knuckle-draggers" covered in tattoos.

I know what you’re trying to say. But selection is much more a function of being able to just take an impossible task, chunk it, execute and act as if there is no future other than the next chunk. Breakfast to lunch. Lunch to dinner. Repeat. A huge part of that is the physical ability to not gas-out early. But only inasmuch as it serves the “don’t quit” program. *Those* people are hard to find.

@AMoneroHodler Most are 115 or above. And the number of guys in group with 130 or more is significantly higher than the average population. Like, one out of seven or ten. It's wild how many winners of the genetic lottery end up there.
