Oh no! Stop! 😁 Just for reference for Chris and anyone else who doesn't do this!! F1 - F4 allow for hotswapping between the 4 overlay modes F5 is smart reset (resets the currently active mode, includes Modifiers - so reset Gain and Offset) F6 Toggles the cursor overlay Hold F7 to see before/after your most recent change (semi granular) Hold F8 to toggle on/off the current mode (like a node) Would love to know your thoughts 😊👍

Definitely don't go to: magic-grade.com And click Try Now for 7 days to sign up and try the free trial before anyone else. 100% don't make sure you're on Tahoe MacOS (most Win version are fine - but DONT!) Oh and definitely don't make sure you use it in DaVinci Wide Gamut Intermediate. You WONT find it in the Effects Library on Edit or Colour pages. And most importantly, DO NOT turn on the OpenFX overlay!!!!

So Mr. Alex and his tech are creating one of the craziest plugins for DaVinci Resolve (specifically for beg to intermediate editors) It's called Magic Color. What it looks like he's done is taken all of the complexity of the Color Page and made it simple enough for meatballs like you and me to understand and use directly on the Edit Page. No nodes, just click and use. It's not a scammy LUT pack and looks extreeemely intuitive

@geekypastimes Yeah i need to set some genre defaults. You generally need to specify your project FPS in the question box. That's a tricky one though, as I totally agree with you, but if someone has recorded their gameplay at 24fps for whatever reason... probably best to export it at 24 😂

@MrAlexTech For gaming video it recommends 24fps at 1080p - 8 feel like most people record gameplay at 60fps at higher resolutions so that's a weird recommendation - I would only do 24fps for camera stuff

You’re a genius (as always). I would love it if this provided an optional educational feature. Like why we should use these export settings. For those that care, it’d be a huge value add. I think prototyping with A.I. then having heavy human intervention is the best way to make products these days. It gets the best of both worlds!
