@initialfocus you've got the link in a dm and I can hop on a call to walk through the basics if that'd help!

@initialfocus @stalman I followed up that they are still available just a little hidden. Not sure what we can expect long-term though...

@stalman @PatrickStirling Yeah did not think that was going to happen so fast. Really thought Apples love for Blackmagic would at least give them support while dropping adobe lol. Guess they really want to take back some market share resolve took.

Holy crap, this might be the biggest news for Final Cut Pro since going from 7 to X. Congrats to the team at MotionVFX!

Breaking: Apple acquires MKBHD......... plugin 😅 motionvfx.com/collections/mk… (But for real, I'm fascinated by this development as a longtime mVFX plugin user - we can assume this will be good for Final Cut in the next few years, and they'll probably pull support for DaVinci Resolve)

@PatrickStirling @MKBHD Again, I don’t think they will do that. I think they will keep both apps supported. They understand a huge base of DaVinci me lives in the Apple ecosystem, like me. Maybe I’m wishful thinking. However, I still think it’s unlikely to pull support on the main app of your ally

@ajayidavid11 @MKBHD cooperation is very different from active support. Resolve plugins are only accessible through a single small link in the footer. There will be no further development of Resolve tools from MVFX.

@MKBHD I don’t think they will pull support for DaVinci resolve. Apple and Blackmagic have a long and strong relationship. They literally developed a camera specifically for the Vision Pro, supported ProRes Raw in their cameras and NLE. I don’t see them pulling support personally.

@Naaackers I'm pretty out of the loop with what's available now but if not the best I think Panasonic is definitely extremely underrated.

Which camera manufacturer do you think does the BEST job with creating features, functions, and tools beneficial for content creators? - Companion app for PC & smartphone - compatibility with tablets - Tethering function - Remote control or monitoring via bluetooth/wifi
