🚨Breaking:
2005 Bar Topnotcher Atty. Joan De Venecia rebuffs post glorifying or framing Sara Duterte’s passing as a feat and as an exceptional “achievement.”
She emphasizes that all lawyers who pass are equal whatever their grade and that the measurement of a great lawyer is how they live their lives after passing the Bar exam and whether or not they uphold the rule of law and defend the rights of their clients fairly.
——————
I am not a bar topnotcher thus I will give a less sophisticated rebuttal:
1. Hindi po “sifting” year ang 2005 because every year is a sifting year. If the point is it was a particularly difficult year, then the facts would show that the passing rate is not even in the top 3 lowest passing rate in history.
2. There is no first taker prestige ANYMORE. Boomer mentality yan. Laos na yan. Even the Supreme Court itself has castigated against such mindset.
Ok, boomer? 😂

Tama!
₱175 Million from Pharmally Lin Wei Xiong aka Allan Lim and ₱100 Million from Tony Yang is also a violation. 👊
Dagdag charges na naman. 😂
