Muthu ji, your political views are your own - but please do speed up the returns on my investments. 😃
Muthukrishnan Dhandapani@dmuthuk

Not going to share any personal details. Just want to highlight how perception is different from reality. This is not to support any political party or leader. Want to let you know things are not as they look. In 2013, my client who was professionally working for Rahul Gandhi suggested my name to him to handle his mutual fund investments. From 2013, when UPA 2 was in power to till date when Vijay was sworn in with Congress support, Rahul continues to be my client for mutual fund investments. We have exchanged many mails and has spoken over phone lot of times. And as you are aware, I've been a strong Modi supporter from 2014 to 2024. Never once Rahul or his office staff brought that subject to me. I believe my tweets are regularly seen by his staff. They clearly differentiate between my professional service and political beliefs. And in every single conversation I've with Rahul, he addresses me with respect and never behaved in any haughty manner. Despite knowing my BJP support, he took my input few years ago for choosing a key professional . This post may lead to Rahul terminating our professional relationship. That's ok. Everything should end one day. Wanted to post this to show how main stream media and IT cells of parties can make someone look completely inhuman. I do not know Rahul Gandhi as a politician. Based on last 14 years interaction, all I can say is he respect professionals a lot and a nice human being to interact with. Don't go by media or IT cells - for any party that matter.

once u stop fantasizing about an ideal version of urself & start working towards it by setting ur alarm clock earlier, working out, reading & stop procrastinating you'll realise that it was so easy all along. ur ideal self will only ever exist in ur mind until u make the decision

#SupremeCourt CJI Surya Kant shares a personal anecdote while hearing a plea by an AoR seeking re-evaluation of a certain judicial services paper CJI: Apply for superior judicial services next time. But let me share something, why you should not press this. When I was in the final year, I applied for judicial services. At that time, final-year students could apply. By the time the results came, the procedure had changed. Earlier, the Public Service Commission used to conduct the selection. Then a Supreme Court judgment came, pursuant to which judges of the High Court were to act as subject experts, and their opinion would be binding on the Commission. In the meantime, I had shifted to the High Court. The senior-most judge who had been nominated for the interview panel already knew me because I had argued two matters before him. One of the matters was Sunita Rani v. Baldev Raj, where he had allowed my appeal in a matrimonial case and set aside the decree of divorce granted by the District Judge on the ground of schizophrenia. The same judge knew that I was appearing for the judicial services interview because he had seen the list from the Commission. One day, he called me into his chamber and asked, ‘Do you want to become a judicial officer?’ I said yes. He immediately said, ‘Get out from the chamber.’ I came out trembling. All my dreams were shattered. I thought I would become a judicial officer, and he had snubbed me like that. The next day, he again called me into his chamber. He said, ‘If you want to become, you are welcome. But my advice is, don’t become a judicial officer. The Bar is waiting for you.’ These were the exact words he said: ‘The Bar is waiting for you.’ I came outside the chamber and decided not to go for the interview. I did not inform my parents because I knew they would get annoyed. After two or three months, I told some lie here and there and refused to go.

To the Principal, staff and students of Miranda College, Delhi University, you need to respect the Chief Guest you invite for your events. I was there for a no show! I have posted the videos and pix here so that you learn that tardiness equals to disrespect. No staff and 4-5 students. Flow chart & evidence posted

@Madan_Chikna Come to your senses, people. The Fortuner was in the wrong but you cannot justify POV car hitting it after the collision. If someone in the Fortuner had died, the driver would spend his time in jail for years. A moment's anger shouldn't lead to a lifetime's miseries.

On the Amritsar–Jamnagar highway in Rajasthan, your NHAI toll barrier gave my car a scratch. Why aren’t the sensors set properly? Sometimes the barrier stays open, sometimes it keeps opening and closing. I’ve seen this across the entire highway this time the barrier was open and suddenly came down! @NHAI_Official

KSCA is paying 19000cr/year since 1969 and have a 99 yr old lease for the M.Chinnaswamy stadium. Instead of solving this mess to enhance the revenue generated by billion dollar league someone wants tickets to settle the score for now. The public is neither getting the tickets and not the benefit of locked revenue if the lease would have been flexible and forward looking

#WATCH | Bengaluru | On IPL tickets demand row, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya says, “Tickets for themselves and their families to attend IPL is nothing short of a feudal entitlement mindset. Why should KSCA or any other sports body mandatorily provide free tickets for MLAs or any political representatives and their families? This does not make sense… This culture of VIP and entitlement must stop. Personally, I do not like what has happened. I do not think KSCA or any sports body should give in to these kinds of demands… Our PM is trying to do away with this VIP culture…”

@SadaaShree Most people that used to eat egg-rice from the stall on the footpath in front of his home never knew the home belonged to a Nobel laureate. And you’re right. It’s surprising that no politician has been able to usurp the lands. It’s a prime property that could fetch 10s of crores.

Panchavati in Malleswaram, C.V.Raman's home at Bengaluru, where he stayed for many decades, before moving to Director's Bungalow of Raman Research Institute. This was actually built by B Jagdeo Kumaraswamy Naik in 1905, when Malleswaram was just starting as a new layout, and it's boundary was 18th cross. When Raman took charge as head of IISc, he bought this bungalow from Naik's descendants. It was his wife, Lokasundari Ammal, who named it as Panchavati and they remodelled it after most of the old bungalows in Bengaluru's Cantonment Area. Currently this is maintained by Raman Research Institute he founded. And has miraclously managed to escape from the tentacles of Bengaluru's Real Estate Mafia, unlike Homi Bhabha's bungalow in Mumbai.

@Rezang_La I have relatives that earn in lakhs every month but still opt for free electricity to save ₹2-3K each month. I was disgusted but can’t help this. No wonder we are a low trust, third-world country.
