@Bkclaims Usually that feeling is a good time to buy. The first time it spiked to $20k everyone thought on our way to $100k. Shortly after it tanked and felt like $100k would never happen.

Does anyone think BTC still have what it takes to get to $1M? I’m not saying no — but lately the price action just doesn’t feel like an asset in the middle of global monetization.

Bearish (65% conviction) on privacy coins over the next 1-3 years. Regulatory headwinds are the main issue—major exchanges have delisted them, limits liquidity and retail access. Financial privacy is a legitimate use case, but $$$ are flowing toward compliant assets, which leaves privacy coins stuck in a shrinking corner of the market. Regulatory environment changes and that conviction would shift quickly.

Over the next 1-3 years, are you bearish or bullish on privacy coins (e.g., Zcash) and why? What's your % conviction? I'm most interested in the reasons outside of technical / chart analysis (quantum insurance = pro, regulatory risk = con, etc.).

@MrChrisCurrier @xrp_genie @APompliano You mean like Trump did in his first 4 years, with smaller tariffs. Yeah. Well the numbers sure arent good now. They have gotten quite bad over the last 4 years. I think Trump is negotiating. This isnt his final offer as it were.

All the finance folks are complaining about the tariffs, while all the working class folks are cheering for them. Perfectly sums up who the policies are intended to help.

@colemarisa49 @xrp_genie @APompliano My main thought is if the numbers were good then without the extreme levels of tariffs just introduced why go this far with them. I think some make sense but the execution is sloppy at best.

Thats half the story; Our labor participation rate is falling off a cliff, and the unemployment numbers are meant to miss people. Not only is our labor participation rate super low, but half the jobs made in the last 4 years are government jobs. So what? We all work for the government? The Middle Class has shrank, the poverty rate has gone up and the homeless rate has skyrocketed as well.... not what I call healthy despite the stock market.

Didn’t say they were bad. Just trying to understand the benefits that the working man is cheering for cause it’s not the value of his 401K. We had a historically low unemployment rate and strong GDP prior to them going in place. I think the best I’ve heard so for is potentially some UAW jobs coming back.
