@UNIONTHUG_@ladymidnightxxx Not Federal, but this happened in my province in 2017 when Premier Wall resigned and Moe was chosen as the new party leader. He’s been in power ever since; winning the next two elections (2020 and 2024)
I find it strange that democrats in the US just pulled this same shit by installing Harris as their candidate without an election, and now Canadian liberals are trying to pull the same thing here by installing a new PM without an election.
Has this ever happened in history for either country?
Explain this to me like I'm 5 please.
Whoever wins the liberal leadership can push the election to 2026?
Why? Because they will be a new prime minister?
I thought we got to have the election this fall regardless of all this BS.
@amdshorn@steve_boots You’re commenting on a post with someone that has “I support STF” as their profile picture. Saskatchewan Teachers Federation. So Saskatchewan. Ontario has nothing to do with this.
@amdshorn@steve_boots The highest a teacher can currently be paid in this province is 102k, and that’s with 11 years of experience and 3 university degrees including a master’s degree. Not sure where you are getting your numbers from, but this is publicly available information
@steve_boots Typically victim mentally, I only make 120k and have summer off, but I'm underpaid. Wealth can be mined, grown, or manufactured, but not printed
@Rudedeck@moxx1981@FriedgeHNIC Yes. All a 2-way contract means is that the player has two different salaries; one for the NHL and one for the AHL. Waivers is 100% based on service time
@Steve_Dangle Did team Canada just LIVE the plot of any of The Might Ducks movies?! Lost in the first game to the team that they would beat in overtime in the final. Who scripted this tournament?!
