Memorial’s Vex Robotics team in State finals. Planing and getting ready for matches. Let’s do it again NEXT YEAR!

Yesterday Memorial went to her first Vex Robotics State finals. Only 47 teams participated out of 142. We were one of them. Our team played very well! Sadly our Robot’s computer froze twice. We could’ve been top 12. Observe video below, our robot (orange wheel). Great job team!

Yes, I believe that is the oldest machine we have. Still works with automatic functions. No computer.

Memorial High School Vex robotics team made it to the six of finals due to strength of robot and ranking. This was a very difficult tournament since it was the last chance to qualify for States. Below is one of the most memorable moments for Memorial’s team.

Thomas Jefferson's 2501Z, even posted a 219 Skills score, which at the time was 53rd in the world for Middle School. They're #VEXWorlds bound as the a member of the winning alliance! As 6th graders they've only begun their @VEXRobotics career, truly incredible!
