Innovation in action! 💡 Congratulations to Elkins HS Engineering Academy students Rishul Bhuvanagiri and Dhruv Koka for winning FBISD’s annual Research and Design Competition with their innovative walking cane created to support individuals with visual impairments. Their project is the culmination of a yearlong Capstone experience, part of FBISD’s four-year engineering pathway, where students apply skills in coding, CAD, hands-on building, and project management to develop real-world solutions. This year’s competition featured seven impressive teams from Austin, Clements, Elkins, Kempner and Ridge Point high schools.
