I attended this last year in advance of teaching A level again for the first time in over 5 years. It was absolutely excellent. Quality presenters and sessions, and a great opportunity to speak to others in a similar position to yourself. Would highly recommend!

@CogitoErgo15 My school have always been generous on this front (though I think it should be standard) one free per week for ITT (for the meeting) plus one free per week / fortnight for ECT (again, for the meeting). I have never known anything different but interesting to see other side!

OK, so the Y6/7 transition packs were soooooo popular, that I was thinking of asking the unbelievable content design team @SparxMaths to create a booklet/course to support for y11/12 transition (i.e. getting ready for AS). If a good idea, RT this to sigal "yes please I want one"

I've made a pack of practise past paper questions based on the pre release materials for AQA A level and Further (Mechanics and Discrete options). They aren't perfect but if they are of use to anyone please let me know, am happy to share

Started writing some questions to target the AQA advanced information for A-Level Maths and Further Maths. Hopefully get a Paper 1 out for both in the next week or so. Let me know if you will be interested.

@MisterFirth Same as others, share if asked and in our email addresses anyway. Usually they find it amusing as I share my first name and 5/6 of my surname with a colleague in the same dept! Misdirected emails galore!

General question for no real reason but, do you tell your students your first name if they ask? If no, why? I’ve always just told them & as long as they don’t call me ‘Jordan’ I really don’t see an issue. Although in Year 1 I did have a pupil shout ‘Jord?’ to get my attention 😅
