@Blackmoor_Film The Alamo pass is $20 a month and you can see a movie a day for free. Just watched Sing Sing yesterday. Superb. Made even better by the fact most of the actors in the film were playing themselves. Wish I had caught that in the theater.

I literally had this conversation over the phone last night. I have not set foot in a theatre in years because there is nothing to see. All I want is an interesting story about people dealing with people things.

@Blackmoor_Film We’ve discussed this before. There are plenty of great films worth seeing in the theater. You just have to look for them. And if you are so worried about cost there are several options available to you that greatly mitigates the cost. Alamo’s monthly pass, for example.

@echolocated Counterpoint: if you live in Boston you don’t need to drive! (I didn’t for two years) 😄. Also finance bros ratio? Boston has more colleges per square mile than other city in the US. I have no idea who Tommy is! 😂

@ClaireMPLS Who was saying this and why??? As a Suns fan with a lot of family in Wisconsin who are Bucks fans, not one of them was sad to see him go. Certainly wasn’t excited when the Suns hired him.

@MrGrinth Do you really think all we do on game night is loot and kill? There is a bit of sarcasm in the comment. LOL

I am trying to stay positive about gaming things and then I get an ad fed to me by the AI bots who cannot realize that I am not into this ad at all. I have about 4 hours to get things done on game night. All I want to do is play a dwarf PC and kill and loot and burn? I really do not have to time to watch other players play act a romance. It's just me and the party vs. whatever deviousness the referee has invented to challenge us. Also, no anime cutesy on game night either. Sorry - I am pure Old School. My idea of fun is going to the dungeon and tearing things up. Am I doing it wrong? 😆 #RPG

@larianstudios Big patch released and still no fix for the map bug that renders the game unplayable. Are there any plans to fix this or should I give up and move on.

@ClaireMPLS Reservation Dogs, Only Murders in the Building, Foundation, How to With John Wilson, Good Omens 2 etc. There are plenty of good shows that just dropped or are mid-season currently.

@straczynski Having a debate with a friend about the upcoming musical episode of SNW (he’s vehemently against it. I think it might be something unexpectedly wonderful). My question is, would you ever consider doing a musical episode of B5 or would it “break the universe.”

@Blackmoor_Film My mother once put on Christian music and walked around the house praying just because my friends and I brought Magic the Gathering cards into the house. So you can imagine just how much the Satanic Panic was in full effect for her 😄

Ran into @MrGrinth at scotch and cigar night. He mentioned the 8 bit extended version of the D&D adventure video. I had not seen this version - I like it even more. Chris told me the story of how one of his friend's mom had begun burning all his D&D books because of the satanic panic. His friend ran 4 miles to get Chris to come help him rescue what was left. @jeffgerstmann I wouldn’t be either but since they transfer over to the regular “eternal” portion of the game it feels like a good excuse to try out a different class and level them up more quickly than you otherwise would be able to.

The Diablo 4 season 1 details sound neat but I’m still not especially into the idea of starting a new “seasonal character” to see most of it. I’m more invested in my main character, that build, that loot, etc.

@ClaireMPLS Feel like the same sentiment has been expressed about the Lakers more than once the last few years. But yeah, depth is definitely an issue.
