I'm sure it was tried before, and possibly still is. I'm not even sure your average holder looks at thee things. But maybe results should be at the front of all governance props.

Technically it's possible. Just thinking into the blue: You could develop an on-chain module to store "Name, Team, proof-wallet, position, expiry" directly on chain queriable via an endpoint. Add entries and remove them via governance proposals (like chanking whitelisting entries etc.). The technical part of this in fact would be quite "straight forward", just to not act like it's impossible.

Hey #TerraClassic #LUNCcommunity I have a problem I think some of you might be able to help me with. I know many of you are business people and maybe even business owners/managers. Here’s my dilemma: I work with a great group of guys in that they have all been in the construction industry for many years and they know their shit. No newbies. We have truck drivers and machine operators and laborers, and depending on the job, either myself or my cousin as the job foreman. Generally, what we do when we are starting a new job is meet early in the morning for an informal scope of work chat. What typically happens is the foreman will layout what we need to do and the timeframe for getting it done and then everyone offers their input on how best to achieve it. As I said, these guys have been around the block a few times, but they don’t always have the same ideas on what should be priority or on how to get certain things done efficiently. This might sound like a potential hindrance, but it’s actually a huge asset. Often someone will bring up something that the rest of us didn’t think about, particularly at 6 o’clock in the morning. Anyway, once everyone has been heard out, the foreman makes the decision on how we shall proceed and we all set out to follow those instructions and get the job done. Where the problem comes in is we often have more than one job at a time going. So there are times that neither I nor my cousin can be on the job site. It seems as soon as we are gone, the guys revert back to doing things the way they individually thought was best. This sometimes leads to confusion and arguments and ALWAYS slows things down, sometimes to the point of affecting profits. When we are there, everything is cool. When we are not, everybody thinks they are running shit. Honestly, we have talked to them till we are both blue in the face about staying on task the way we spell it out but invariably the problem always happens. Firing people is not even an option. We are honestly lucky to have such competent guys who actually show up to work every day, sober and ready to go. A rarity in construction. Have any of you run into this problem and if so, what do you do about it?

I keep trying to tell these guys that. They think I’m being an asshole, but I just really need them to realize that investors do not give a shit about all the fancy things you develop. They are all cool and nifty and I’m sure your followers and subscribers think you’re neeto but point to which one of them have increased the price of #LUNC. Somehow, they got so wrapped up in themselves and what they could build and achieve that they forgot the mission which was to make people who lost whole again. As whole as possible anyway. Not to forget about the people who invested after the crash. They have seen their investment go down down down while we listen to certain people sing their own praises about how much they have done. If you haven’t made anyone any money besides yourself, you haven’t done shit.

@DawidSkinder @edTreb001 I agree we will have to wait until what's said during Trevs space tomorrow and then hopefully something of substance comes out that can be finalised before it goes off to go to a gouvernence proposal before it's rubber stamped! I'll be listening in even if I may be 1/2 asleep.

So if governance is 100% not decentralized, before we do something extreme, we may as well try creating a committee or advisory body / org. made up of people who are not validators / L2 builders. Attend @edTreb001 space. Let's at least try.

That makes it difficult to form a long term strategy. I think top of the list is the Ukraine war, the middle east and potential conflict in the south China sea.

They lost the case once, I feel they risk personal reputational damage if they lose again so will think twice.

Losing the appeal would do great harm to the reputation of the SEC... Reason 2. The 5 commissioners will be concerned about their own personal reputation if they lose.

🚨NEW: A former @SECGov lawyer who recently left the agency tells me the SEC will ‘probably’ appeal Judge Torres’s July 2023 ruling concerning the $XRP programmatic sales in the @Ripple case partly because: “everyone over there [at the SEC] truly believes that the decision is wrong, that it’s not good law, and should be appealed.” Going to do a deeper dive into the SEC’s options and what we could see as we near the October 7th appeal deadline.

@realOscarRamos1 Maybe that suggests that apart from investors like you me and many others it's not a critical/vote winning policy at the front of people minds and other things are more important to get the general vote of the masses.
