in the end, the bill always comes due. false allegations and manipulation need to have heavy consequences. whether you are on shinblade's side or not, we should see that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence on one side and silence from another.

@KSRD_718 They’ve not yet been proven false, but it seems the evidence was not enough to get the case dismissed, which is not much but it is more empirical validation than we saw to end his FGC career.

You’re ignoring the criticism so hard it’s not even funny. The criticism is that regular gamers can see this is being inflated and people are outright LYING (like you just did claiming it’s a indie game when it’s being back by a billionaire) about the quality of the GAME.
The fact that only industry “insiders” and their friends are the only ones praising it is proof enough there’s a clear disconnect and instead of listening to most of the valid criticisms like the characters, pretentious story, failed nostalgia bait, and lack of actual gameplay, you’d rather call people idiots or say they don’t know anything. That condescension is exactly why AAA and these gaming review sites are in the state they’re in
And we need to stop this idea that gamers just want “safe” games when the biggest game of the year so far was one with so much gameplay that your buddies couldn’t even finish it (Crimson Desert)
So instead of deflecting criticism and burning your head in the sand maybe you and your friends should listen to the people who keep you employed

i’ve figured out what bothers me about the MIXTAPE debacle gamers complain about AAA studios laying people off even if they make a popular game but if you make an indie game with 17 friends that gets too well reviewed they will try to ruin your life over it can’t win 😩😩 would you rather people make up the dumbest shit imaginable to justify harassing you off the internet or would you like to just lose your job? all this shit is going to do is ensure the most homogenized safe games ever get made, the same five AAA slop + friendslop + indieslop over and over again and they’ll all complain that design feels stagnant but if you do anything outside of the things people Know Are Good you will get hate campaigns it’s tiring seeing the same boring idiot takes from people who’ve never licensed a song in their life just looking to score dunk points on the latest acceptable target there’s no such thing as an “industry plant” you guys just don’t know how anything works so you get confused about everything

Kung Jin isn’t even a good character but him being gay isn’t the reason and that’s another discussion.

It’s a practical one. Ever since games have added in representation and other such garbage like hiring external consulting firms about problematic topic games have consistently gone downhill you can track it almost 1-1. It’s a very strong correlate and you could certainly argue it’s causation. Nothing false about it here.
There’s very little emotion in my arguments. I’ve never once argued “I feel” but nice try. I’ll be muting this thread now good luck in life you’re gonna need it.

Adding a cosmetic does not automatically mean they spent less time on other core mechanics, that's just your emotional assumption. I see things i don't like in games sometimes too I don't throw online tantrums over it
