@dantypo Maybe 1500-2k is the new $500? I agree with you though. I rarely change cars, but the last one I got rid of I gave to a friend. It worked long enough to improve savings and then helped as a trade in. (Friend is a stand up person, but got knocked back by life )

Am I the only one who sells my used cars for like $500 anymore? I swear, when I unloaded my kid’s starter cars, I’d just be like, “I don’t know, you got $500 cash?” I mean, I get that sometimes every dollar matters for some. But I’m always just thinking, “if it gets you to work for a few months or more, you can basically have it.” But I see the same kind of cars on lawns for like $1,500-$2,000. It’s nuts. Be generous. Help someone out who maybe REALLY needs it.

I started learning German years ago, initially by myself and then I got a tutor. I was very close to taking a job in Germany at one point. These days, I don't get to practice my German but when I do come to Germany, I try my best to speak. I'm in Frankfurt now. I ordered a coffee and was complimented on my pronunciation. He made sure to tell me that he understood everything I said clearly. A cool feeling...
