On the morning after I submitted a paper arguing England should look further afield and realise that our education accountability mechanism is the outlier, not the norm- great to see this change. This should be the beginning. There is a reason why no other OECD country has such oppressive measures in their accountability mechanism- because it leads to poorer teacher recruitment and retention. @bphillipsonMP- This is a great start. I hope that we look at the mechanisms in place in other European countries for some inspiration and change the culture in our schools.

Girls in Year 9 from Paddington Academy learnt all about stocks and bonds, took part in case studies and explored different ways of investing! 🧮

This term the Sixth Form team have been delivering cooking workshops to Year 13 students to prepare for the transition to independent University life. Some amazing skills displayed so far, and we look forward to resuming this after the Easter break!

Diar and Orest, Year 13 Politics students, got to meet former Prime Minister and current Foreign Secretary David Cameron last week at the Foreign Affairs Select Committee. They took the opportunity to discuss their favourite issue with him: Kosovo. @David_Cameron
