@adamboxer1 Interesting. Would you say it’s “hard to implement” Turn and Talk across all Key Stages? I would argue it is much easier at A-Level, and I wonder if Primary specialists say similar. In an A-Level classroom, I’d argue it’s much easier to do well.

There are a few phrases in education that I really have a problem with. One is "when done well..." This relativistic and unfalsifiable claim is applied to all sorts of pedagogical interventions, but it hampers criticality and growth. Link in reply, please share if you can!

@Map_Addict I’ve seen it. Never had a copy- would you recommend? Does it have unique ones? Most seem to have the standard set of EQS, pedestrian surveys, shops and services etc. I guess 100 should include some!

@MrJPerry2 Not sure if these count as sophisticated, but... How to use, configure and analyse georeferenced secondary and primary data with GIS, ideally building on work in earlier years. Preparation by virtual fieldwork e.g. #StreetView and #SeeMoreDates

@MrJPerry2 @m_chiles @Doug_Lemov @teacherhead @olicav @WALKTHRUs_5 @Steplab_co Hi. All staff are coached by a leader or TLR holder. They work with their coach in the teaching and practice labs to join up what is then seen in the classroom and discussed in coaching sessions.

STEP 4 We use a coaching model driven by @Steplab_co to support staff with regular granular feedback and practice to reflect on the implementation of techniques in the classroom. We use the shoutout function to promote regular open door classrooms where teachers can share success with colleagues to promote a positive T&L culture. /4

@mr_perez5 Students becoming over-reliant on nicely formatted guided reading worksheets. Will students still be given “guided reading” versions when it comes to NEA literature in y12? The stabilisers need to come off through KS3 and the “guiding” needs to reduce over time!
