@DrMiriamTanti And then through pathways at uni, secured myself a permanent position for 3 years upon graduation. I personally have no idea what they could do to find a different measure of what it is the HSC finds, but there is this problem with anxiety and stress it causes on many students.

@DrMiriamTanti My personal experience of these exams was nothing but stress and worry of these exams which were expected to shape the future. I did not perform anywhere near the expectations I had set for myself and that had me quite down. I was fortunate to use pathways to get into my course

A fun way to end the afternoon! Felt like a proper day with the laptop turned around showing the question and results on the monitor. Peach came back from a slow start for the win! My students are loving Socrative as a way to do our retrieval practices for RE. #ACUedu_p #aussieED

A fun first lesson of 3D Objects for Year 6. Remote learning has taken us by storm but I am trying to keep my kids engaged with new methods like the white board feature. Hopefully they are all having as much fun as me in trying new ways of teaching!

Why do people say the way to recruit teachers is by increasing pay. The best way is expose people to working with kids. That way they have experienced something that otherwise they wouldn't even have dreamt of as a career. Teachers don't become teachers for the money. #acuedu_p

To our classes. We then found any links to the mathematics syllabus and explored what that would mean for them (they think lots and lots of experiments!). I can't wait to continue using the design thinking process to engage with my class further in science. #ACUedu_p #AussieEd

Yesterday in science we exposed year 6 to the science syllabus! We taught them the codes and they broke down what they thought they would learn as opposed to what the teachers would teach. It was a fantastic experience to observe our principal model the design thinking pedagogy..
