We have gigantic creatures in the sea which can sing for hours and have arteries so big you can crawl through them. (whales)
We have birds that fly 50,000 miles every year. From the antarctic to the arctic and back again. (arctic tern)
We have living creatures which never get old and never die naturally. (jellyfish)
We have animals which you can force through a sieve, and they can reassemble themselves. (sponges)
We have an ancient line of animals which once had 30 or more successful species, and has gone extinct down to just one single representative, and that representative has conquered the entire world (us).
We have horrors that look just like rocks and if you step on them your whole world becomes agonizing pain. (toadfish)
We have animals who hide inside other animals, and when you eat that animal, they enter your intestines and live there. (tapeworms)
We have plants which live on other plants and never touch the ground.
There's a fruit tree that grows around another tree, and eventually kills and replaces it. (strangler fig)
We have gliding lizards, marsupials, snakes, frogs, and rodents.
What the heck do you need fairies for?
•@yducknow
what a boring planet… no fairies, no elves, no mermaids, no dragons, no vampires, no ware wolves….. just bills, stress, gossip, and insufferable people

@SandyofCthulhu We also have large tropical trees native to the Americas called dynamite trees that are known for their explosive seed pods that launch seeds at speeds reaching 160mph/260kmph. Not to mention it also secretes highly poisonous sap.

@MaceAhWindu I was hyped until I saw its turn based. I might still try it because it’s Star Wars, though.

@LiberalSpy @TaraBull These types of comments always scream low testosterone
English

@TaraBull Talk about a simp husband. Noo I’m not mad at you hunny. This is nothing compared to you getting a train ran on you last time you went out with the girls
English

@HothLord90 @Mericamemed It would be fine if construction didn’t take 2 damn weeks for a pothole
English

@Mericamemed I’m gonna be that guy. Everyone complains they won’t properly fix the roads but then complain about traffic caused by them properly fixing the roads.

@daehaerys “As a man who has a daughter” why the fuck are you thinking about your daughter that way?

This guy juices fresh pomegranates for the first time and realizes he just squeezed out roughly $15 worth of vibrant, seed-free juice… for basically the same price as a $17 bottle at the store.
Takes his first sip, goes “Oh my goodness”…
Then yeets his glasses across the room in pure disbelief 😭
I'm thinking I need to buy one of these citrus juicers, how about you?
End3of6Days9 (Helen) 🇺🇸@end3of6days9
This girl sees Tropicana on sale for $4.99 and thinks “I can beat that.” She grabs two bags of oranges for $4.98, pulls out the manual juicer, and starts sweet-talking the fruit like “please don’t let me down” 😂 Ends up with almost the exact same amount of juice… but way better taste. I’m sure fresh-squeezed OJ tastes better, but would you really go through all that trouble just to save a penny? 😭

Man, what a trip the Japs are:
Leaving shoes behind when committing suicide in Japan is a deeply ingrained cultural practice symbolizing a transition to another realm, respect for the location, and preparation for the afterlife. It acts as a final act of order and personal resolution, often signaling that the individual is leaving the physical world behind.
Key reasons for this practice include:
Cultural Etiquette: In Japan, removing shoes before entering homes or sacred spaces is mandatory to keep them clean. Leaving them at a suicide site, such as a bridge or forest, is a continuation of this ritualized, respectful behavior.
Symbolic Transition: It signifies stepping out of the material world and leaving one's physical, societal, and functional "identity" behind.
Orderly Departure: Leaving shoes, often neatly paired, allows the individual to depart "cleanly" without creating a mess or causing unnecessary disruption to others.
Signal of Intent: The shoes act as a clear sign of the person's final resolve, separating the act from a momentary or accidental incident.

@ifiwastheD3vil @SamuelAlikuhio But you have enough characters and time to type up this retarded ass comment?
English

@SamuelAlikuhio I dont have enough characters or time to pick apart every single example of how retarded this is.. but this is such a sad shame honestly- now yall make retarded conspiracies as a cope for your shitty culture, without enough background knowledge to make it make any sense

@KleverBarbie @NeoRepublic_ZA “some people are short sighted”
get glasses or stay off the damn road. you’re a hazard to yourself and to others if you can’t see 100 damn feet in front of you.
English

@NeoRepublic_ZA Everybody blaming the driver , but where is the parking light ? Where is the triangle ? Where are the signs for he car is parked , some people are short sighted .. the parked cargo killed the motorist , and that’s one of the major accruing killers on our roads , parked trucks
English

@NeoRepublic_ZA They weren’t even going that fast, and had the entire road to themselves but still managed to hit the only thing in his way.
It’s a damn shame they died, but how the hell do you even manage to do that.
English

@MartinLukasMD @GoatRoper911 Imagine thinking her style is the root of all her issues
English

@GoatRoper911 Imagine though she could have solved her problems by just dressing normally for a week. People would be amazed by how many of their problems would be solved by acting normally.

@wine_018 There are NUMEROUS outliers in nature, though.
Penguin dads routinely care for the egg, seahorse dads literally give birth, and red fox fathers are often considered some of the best fathers in nature.
This is such a stupid claim when humans are the biggest outliers in nature.
English

I think about this ALL THE TIME.
Men talk about being protectors - but in nature, it’s actually the women/females that do the protecting…
Ina💗@alicem3x
This Doberman mom is protecting her puppies from their dad as male dogs generally lack paternal instincts and may view newborns as prey, toys, or intruders 🔥
