Because of the injury to the linesman last night and inability to get a new linesman to snowy MN, one of last night’s refs, Brandon Schrader, is doing lines tonight. Retiring ref Chris Lee, who lives in MN, is doing his third Wild game in a row. Wasn’t supposed to do yest/today

The 49ers did a simple restructure on Nick Bosa's contract, clearing $17.172 million in 2026 cap space.
Bosa is still due $23.18 million this season. His 2027 cap number is now a whopping $54,866,753.

Pretty obvious Kyler will be QB1 this season so either A) They are concerned about crushing JJ or B) They are trying to pump up his trade value.

Kevin O’Connell on signing Kyler Murray: "I think we accomplished a goal, which was to add a really talented player with some experience to that room. It's something I'm really excited about, as we set out to elevate the situation in that quarterback room, being very competitive." O’Connell said he had a "great conversation" with J.J. McCarthy this week about his offseason. As for the starting QB, he said, "I don't believe we have to name one of those currently."

@AmyHockert Cursive has become an ancient form of communication. Just like caligraphy. Teachers have much more to deal with nowadays than that. The only valid argument I can see for it is it helps develop fine motor skills

Minnesota State Senator Ann Rest proposing a cursive bill. Says she was heartbroken when she gave her grandchild a card and he handed it back because he couldn't read it. Should our kids learn cursive in elementary school?

@kscullinfox9 @AmyHockert That just tells me that it’s completely useless to learn. Kids and teachers have a whole lot more to do than learn what is becoming an ancient language. The only argument for teaching person at this point is it helps a child develop motor skills.

@AmyHockert Yes. But taught AND used throughout the years that follow. My kids got a "cursive license" in the 3rd grade. And that's where the usage ended. So guess what? Use it or lose it.

Mandatory? Nothing learned is mandatory. It sure is helpful in reading and verifying old documents. I think its important the be able to read things like the constitution, old census records, your deed, or even journals from your geat-great- grandparents without someone else "interpreting" for you. Understanding the past is import part of building the future.
