@nostalgiaa Overrated show. Mostly boring with action taking place off-screen. Best fight was against the vampire towards the end of the last season.
Fight me.

@hewarsaber I don't understand...How does "Some of the websites I really love" translate to "Some of the websites I designed"?
English

Epic website for what is sure to be an epic game 🤩
Love the craft and attention to detail in the character and city design. Must have taken a crazy amount of time and effort 🤯

@DPietrasiak @thalion_pb @Airbnb ChatGPT produced 3D models that you could open in C4D/Blender3D/Spline and edit?
English

@thalion_pb @Airbnb Thanks! The original icons were fully created by me. I used a ChatGPT prompt to generate the 3D models, following specific constraints to preserve the original colors and composition.

The new @Airbnb icon approach caught everyone’s attention! I couldn’t resist rethinking the navigation for my latest project.

@MrNiceLeon @BrettFromDJ It's actually very simple. The image of the chocolate cup was generated in ChatGPT 4o, following the method demonstrated by Brett (logo + texture). After that, I extended the image to a 9:16 format using FreePik. Finally, I created the video using Google Veo 2.

@Berezin12345 @BrettFromDJ Would love some kind of 'How to' for generating a 3d model of a realistic coffee cup –even if just a still image

@itsdesignertom "Ship ideas that don’t actually matter"
I lean on your every word always –real talk.
But regarding the quote above...What about the company that the designer works for?
English

Good designers add 1.
They create more than they consume:
- Use the right fidelity at the right time
- Build systems when they’re needed
- Take the best notes and share them
- Host open-invitation office hours
- Ship ideas that solve real problems
Bad designers subtract 1.
They consume more than they create:
- Slowwwly push pixels to perfection
- Build systems for a far away future
- Gatekeep information
- Prioritize arguments over action
- Ship ideas that don’t actually matter
The job of a designer is to produce new value. Period.
Good designers relentlessly focus on this.
Bad designers succumb to design hedonism.
In the end, it comes down to simple math:
Good designers: +1
Bad designers: -1
Which digit defines your work?
The world needs more +1 designers.
Here's how to become one:
- Solve expensive problems
- Do what’s necessary to move quickly
- Launch, gather, iterate
- Teach your techniques
Be a good designer. Add 1 to the world.

@ridd_design The part where we were intro'd to the new bad guy (what Juan mentioned) was epic –Love it when they go in hard on little details, like what fireworks could look like 8000 years from now. Think they invented a new language for the franchise or something too, I could be wrong
English

@MrNiceLeon @ridd_design Yes, whatever timezone you’re in X updates it on your end. So, should be 3pm UK GMT 👍

@ridd_design Would you say it's a good (enough) way to show off design iterations on the mobile version of a portfolio case study?
