and yet when Liam Rosenior says things like this, everyone laughs

@NiceGuyKenny Also the numerous factors, which likely include luck as well as business skill, in one field often don’t translate to a different one. And very rarely when it comes to football

NOT ONE of these #Manosphere saddos has ever gone down the pub and had a pint. None of them have ever successfully flipped a beer mat and caught it. None of them have ever got the fruity to pay-out This alone disqualifies them from talking about masculinity. Fucking soft lads…

Not even the first time this SEASON that the football commentary community has decided that the laws of the game should be sacrificed at the altar of the narrative - with Chelsea as the proposed victims in both cases.

@OllieGlanvill From recent reports we seem to be going for volume of back room hires over quality. Let’s hope this new GK coach can send Bob in the right direction again
English

@MrNickClark Sort of. Maresca and de Bernardin simplified Sanchez’s responsibilities in line with where he’s most effective. Quick, medium/long distribution on ball+high claims/ shot stopping off ball. Reintro of Roberts seems to have muddied things again. But now we’ve hired another GK coach

We know Penders is back in Summer. Going to be an interesting time heading into next season

Rob Sanchez was "very disappointed" about being left out against Aston Villa, but Liam Rosenior doesn't have a no1 goalkeeper. More here 👇: bbc.co.uk/sport/football…
English

@OllieGlanvill But towards the end of Maresca's (lamented) reign, they'd found a way for his playing out not to hurt us. The one negative in Rosenoir's ledger vs his predecessor is that he's seemingly undone all that
English

@MrNickClark Sanchez’s best trait by far is high claims and somehow we’ve seemingly found a way to work against it. His shot stopping% has been very decent for a while too. It’s just his decision making on the ball that continues to cost him and us
English

@OllieGlanvill Oh I totally agree. Just as I was coming round to Sanchez - a big bloke making worldie saves and actually catching crosses, he seems to have gone backwards. But ideally Penders gets more experience. Is he ready to be in the middle of an Arsenal corner melee?
English

@MrNickClark And yet you’d probably say same thing watching our keepers each week. Reality is both could go and another come in with Penders understudy. Don’t see how with the data available you can really back any of them fully
