Dear @CAF_Online @CAF_Media , It’s called FOOTBALL for a reason , and it’s won on the pitch. Not in some tribunal or anywhere off the pitch. Senegal is the winner of the 2026 AFCON, return whatever bribe you took from Morocco. Regards, World Football Fans Federation (WFFF)

🇳🇬⚖️ Isese adherents demand public apology, traditional atonement from pastor over Osun Grove incident Adherents of Isese have issued a public petition demanding an unreserved apology and traditional atonement rites from a pastor following an incident at the Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove. The group stated that they will no longer tolerate disrespect, desecration, or disregard for their sacred traditions and ancestral heritage. The demanded atonement rites include 16 he-goats, 16 roosters, and three kegs of palm oil, which they described not as acts of hostility but as recognized cultural processes of restitution and spiritual cleansing after desecration. "We are peaceful people, but we are not silent, and we are certainly not weak. We have coexisted with other religions in peace across generations on the land of our ancestors. That peace must be built on mutual respect," the group stated. The adherents also called on the Nigeria Police Force and the Osun State Government to investigate the incident thoroughly, ensure accountability under the law, and protect all religious and cultural groups from provocation and disrespect. They warned that failure to address the matter appropriately could deepen tensions and disrupt long-standing peace among communities.

The church of the said pastor was visited by some onisese. He was given a dose of his own medicine. For as much as we do not support violence, aura for aura sends better message most time.

I am advocate of Iwapele but this patience and tolerance has limit. This pastor visited Osun groove and starting displaying madness that it's jesus that is powerful, OSUN is powerless. It's time to start entrying churches to being isese to them. Make them feel am... Video source @spiritual_wife

CAF President Patrice Motsepe says many African countries avoid bidding to host tournaments because they fear financial losses. As a result, Morocco 🇲🇦 often steps in, even for less profitable events like the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations or futsal championships. Motsepe said Morocco helps “save the situation” when no other bids are submitted. The country has strong infrastructure and a clear willingness to host. While not always the only option, Morocco has become CAF’s most reliable partner for filling hosting gaps.
