@kmccauleymusic @Mr_Rablin Music here - can confirm. Everything I use I've made over the past 16 years. Still making every day.

@Mr_Rablin It is the current standard for most non- ELA, Math, SS., Sci teachers to make most of their own curriculum and materials from scratch. Nobody should have to teach like this. It can be crippling to a teacher's capabilities for sure.

To the English departments, A text set with attached standards isn't a curriculum. It puts an unnecessary burden on new teachers to invest time outside the school day to create resources and materials without the structure of clearly sequenced learning progressions.

"Write the plans so any teacher could follow them." I teach music. 95% of the adult population can't read the language. That might be an indictment on their music teachers, but I see these kids 45 minutes a week.

Since this year's class of Frontier Seniors started in Kindergarten, I've worked at 3 out of 4 elementary schools and both the Middle and High School. The percentage of this class I've had for at least a year feels really high.

Its a windy/dreary day, but thats not stopping @CloverElem Physical Education and 5th graders from an adapted "Track Meet".

The @CloverElem celebrated their year today by going to Niagara Falls, then coming back and spraying Mrs. Kumiega's hair Frontier Blue and Cloverbank Green...while she sat in a pool of Jello. How many principals do you know who would do that?
