@Joshua_Cartus @PokemanZ0N6 most are the same of dbz, so they are more than 30 years old. This is not the issue imo, the main problem is that they costantly remind me of dragon ball.

@PokemanZ0N6 Also it's old. Been watching this show for 8 years now. Toei's sfx have been behind for a while. The animation keeps improving while the sfx library are the exact same shit, 20 years ago. It's not that hard for Toei to revamp or add.

About one piece sound effects
1. It's dumb to complain about the cartoony sfx because that's exactly the point with gear 5
2. people who don't watch op usually mix this up to hate on it when that's the point
3. complaints about other sfx like lazers, swords, egghead boots valid

@PokemanZ0N6 Sfx was the same during pre-opening ep, but it changed after opening (just listen to Nami boots sound), supposing that the first part was made before hiatus. We will hear new sfx in the following episodes

- The break was to increase the gap btw the anime and manga
- Sfx are the same
- Quality will be the same or slightly better (big episodes will benefit mostly)
- Staff positions changed (nagamine leaving and some promoted to higher positions)
