@GNev2 Ah great idea…another task for teachers…anything else you would like us to do @GNev2 For your information internet/social media safety has been in schools for a long time. Promoting the positive ways to use it and preventing hate. The real problem is how do you police it?

Rishi Sunak is looking to ban kids from social media until they’re 16. It’s not enforceable and it’s not realistic at all. Why do they always take the short cut. What about building a curriculum that is best in class in “Social Media” taught at schools and get kids good at it. Social Media isn’t going away and getting our children to use it properly and safely is a must. I’ve been banging on about this with our University and on other platforms for years now. Digital is at the heart of everything we do and Social media can be a positive way to demonstrate our own personalities and character. We always look at the negative consequences of it ( which do need some looking at ) but we can’t stop it. Let’s get our kids good at it and improve the communication skills of them in a smart environment.

@HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk Maybe an option for a call back, expecting people to wait on the phone for 50+ minutes is ridiculous. Then to get cut off is infuriating. Then to put in a complaint…you guessed it wait in another queue. I don’t need excuses I need to speak to the correct department!

@DeputyGrocott A friend had me look at his a few years ago. It’s one of two things - the first is good news, when you press the ‘spanner’ button it is simply stating how many miles left with the current ad blue amount. The second is not so good, SCR fault. 👍

Citroen owners…when I press the wrench button on my Citroen, this message appears. Any ideas? I’ve flicked through the manual but can’t see much about it. There’s no warning light or anything appearing.

@MissClarkeY2 You are certainly not alone. I’ve returned to the UK for a few months and I’m hitting some great personal cpd courses that I have wanted to do for a long time. I’m taking time to focus on me. I ignore the regular comments about settling down/kids…I love travelling too much 😃✈️

Out my third year uni house, I’m the last one to have a baby/get married. Not even close 😂

@MissClarkeY2 I despise that topic it always makes me question my position, then I go through coping strategies to get myself back on track. Sometimes comments can take you by surprise and those surrounding this topic certainly do.

People asking about marriage and kids has genuinely ruined my day. For someone who likes being in control of things and having absolutely 0 control over it made me overthink everything

@MissClarkeY2 I’m on a CPD course back in the UK for a few months…6 out of 8 teachers on the course are aiming to leave the profession in the next two years.

Raising starting salaries means nothing. I know someone who trained as a science teacher, got a 20k+ grant and left teaching within 2 years. Something needs to improve in terms of resources as well as recognising the working hours IMO. I’ve been teaching 7 years,

@MissClarkeY2 Hiring based on genders? I would stay well clear. The job should go to the best suited candidate, not to someone who’s gender fills a minority gap in the school.

This morning I was in the gym and all I could focus on was how much I hated my stomach & hips, and that I wish you could target certain areas of fat. Had to remind myself that it’s a Sunday and I’m willingly AT THE GYM. The small steps lead to the big leaps 👏🏻

Me: completely overworked with planning/marking/general contact paperwork…exhausted! 😩 Also me: ohhh that looks like a good cpd opportunity 😂
