Today, my security detail was withdrawn without any notice or lawful justification. This action violates the National Police Service Act, Sections 30 and 31, which obligate the Inspector-General to provide security to State officers whose roles and public engagements expose them to heightened risk. There is no court order, no disciplinary communication, and no official explanation for this decision. It not only endangers my safety but also interferes with the smooth execution of county duties. I call upon the National Police Service to immediately reinstate my security and adhere to the constitutional standards of fairness, professionalism, and respect for the law.

Being WILLIAM RUTO is NOT an easy thing. Imagine spending 60% of the GDP to repay loans and their accrued interests every year but still ensuring; SHA is working. Education is robust. Roads are being constructed. Stadiums are being renovated and a new one is being completed. Worst still, the incessant demands from civil servants for salary increments. Whereas Uhuru was servicing debts at a rate of KSh. 500B annually, President Ruto is spending KSh. 1.5T to service those expensive debts Uhuru borrowed. Imagine being William Ruto in this situation and an environment of occasional disruptive protests that jeopardise revenue collection?
